Dr Liz Lynn

Head of Scientific and Educational Development, Head of Project Management and Process Efficiency

Liz graduated from Imperial College with a 2:1 BSc (Hons) in Biology and subsequently gained an MSc in Molecular Parasitology and Vector Biology from the University of Manchester and a PhD on the molecular biology of the human parasite, Trypanosoma cruzi, at the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine.

Liz then worked as a postdoctoral research scientist for the Biotechnology and Biological Sciences Research Council, specialising in molecular parasitology and proteomics. After gaining some business development experience, Liz started at the DSRU as Head of Scientific and Educational Development in September 2007. Her role is broadly to lead development of further scientific, educational and business opportunities in collaboration with the senior team at DSRU.
