The Drug Safety Research Unit (DSRU) is an independent unit internationally respected for it’s work in Pharmacovigilance, Pharmacoepdiemiology, Risk Management, Risk Minimisation and Training Services for over 30 years.
The DSRU, led by Director Professor Saad Shakir, aims to protect patients from unwanted adverse effects of medicines in clinical use. The DSRU has grown into a board pharmacoepidemiological unit which uses a variety of methods to conduct a wide range of studies.
