Linda Härmark attends ISoP Annual Meeting in Cairo

Linda Härmark attended the Annual Meeting of the International Society of Pharmacovigilance (ISoP) in Cairo and gave a presentation on "What matters? Different perspectives and needs of pharmacovigilance". In her presentation she talked about how different stakeholders have different needs from pharmacovigilance, and that we should focus more on patients’ need for information about coping and managing side effects. The patient voice in pharmacovigilance could be stronger.

Linda met many drug safety friends old and new at the conference and was encouraged to hear about progress in pharmacovigilance all over the world, especially on the African continent. The conference dinner at the pyramids was an unforgettable experience for everyone!

Linda was honoured to be made a Fellow of ISoP at the Annual Meeting.
