DSRU attends World Drug Safety Congress Europe
The DSRU team had a very busy few days at the World Drug Safety Congress (WDSC) Europe in Amsterdam recently. We received a lot of interest at our exhibition booth and met many new faces, as well as some old friends. Many delegates were keen to enter our daily prize draw for a free registration at a DSRU course of their choice and the DSRU travel mugs and tote bags proved to be very popular!

Two DSRU research posters were also on display, focusing on studies that highlight our risk minimisation and safety surveillance capabilities. As part of the scientific programme at WDSC, DSRU Director, Linda Härmark took part in a panel session on "Impacts of AI & automation on signal detection" with Teodora Perger, Philip Jones, Stephanie Tcherny-Lessenot and Ryan Walker. The discussion covered many key points, including barriers to adoption of automation and the importance of developing automated methods to predict the safety of medicines.
