The DSRU is now a member of the SIGMA Consortium

We are delighted to announce that the DSRU is the newest member of the SIGMA Consortium. The consortium was established by ENCePP (the European Network of Centres for Pharmacoepidemiology & Pharmacovigilance) research centres in 2020. Its objective is to integrate expertise and data from a number of European countries to provide multi-country real world evidence (RWE) research as a service to clients, especially those from the pharmaceutical industry.

The DSRU brings to the SIGMA Consortium decades of experience in RWE studies, both in the UK and in collaboration with other European partners. We contribute real-world data from the UK, both from existing databases such as the UK general practice database, CPRD, and by bespoke data collection in primary and secondary care.

SIGMA Consortium has become the ‘go-to’ organisation for state-of-the-art RWE research, providing a vital service to many pharmaceutical companies, and the DSRU team is pleased to be an active member of the consortium.
