Postgraduate Certificate, Diploma and Masters in Pharmacovigilance
Working in drug safety is highly competitive and challenging. There is a growing need for trained professionals for the pharmaceutical industry, regulatory authorities and academia. Formal academic training in this rapidly developing subject area is lacking. That is why the Drug Safety Research Unit (DSRU) has developed accredited postgraduate awards in Pharmacovigilance in association with the University of Portsmouth. Entry requirements
- Either a first or second class honours degree in the biosciences, veterinary science, dentistry, pharmacy or medicine
- Or a professional qualification equivalent to the above
- Proficiency in English, as demonstrated by an approved test (in some cases)
- A portfolio demonstrating suitability for study on this course (for candidates who do not fall into the above categories only)
Fees
- Students who register and are invoiced for 4 or more units at a time receive a 15% discount and will be charged £918.75 + VAT per unit.
- Students who register and are invoiced for less than 4 units at a time will be charged £1050.00 + VAT per unit.
- In addition all students will be charged an annual registration fee, currently £620 + VAT per year.
PgC - £4295.00* + VAT (if completed in 1 year)
PgD - £8590.00* + VAT (if completed in 2 years)
MSc - £10760.00* + VAT (if completed in 3 years)
*Includes
15% discount on unit fees, applicable when 4 or more units are invoiced at
once. The fees above include an annual £620 academic registration fee, which
is also payable after every additional 12 months of registration. Fees
can be paid per unit - ask for details. MSc fee includes £1550 MSc
project fee.
