Claire Doe

Claire qualified from University College London Medical School and worked as junior doctor in General Medicine, ENT and Surgery in the North East of England. She then spent time working in cardiology and paediatrics in Australia, before starting a General Practice Vocational Training Scheme in Reading. During this training Claire worked in General medicine, Accident and Emergency, Paediatrics and Obstetrics and Gynaecology before settling as a GP registrar in a practice in Oxfordshire. Claire gained the diploma in Child health, the diploma of the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists and passed the membership exam of the Royal College of General Practitioners with distinction. Claire went onto work as a GP in Berkshire, Hampshire, Oxfordshire and Surrey and also held posts as a GP educator on GP training schemes in Reading and later in Portsmouth. Claire joined the DSRU in January 2009 looking for fresh challenges and new ways to use her knowledge and skills. Claire works as a Clinical Research Fellow overseeing PEM studies and providing support and assistance with medical matters as required
